Robert M. Kligerman, the key principal of The Kligerman Group, has been actively engaged in the real estate business for over 35 years. He began his career in Boston as an apartment leasing agent in 1974. From 1977 to 1993, Robert was a well-known commercial leasing and sales broker in midtown and downtown Manhattan specializing in what were then peripheral and tertiary office markets.

Conducting noteworthy and bell weather transactions, he represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and prominent New York Landlords as both leasing and sales agent. Included are: Nynex, Equitable, Met Life, Allstate, Sakura Bank, General Electric Credit Corp, and many others. In 1984, he won The Creative Deal of the Year Award (known as the Robert T. Lawrence Award) from The Real Estate Board of New York for brokering the sale of the first large commercial condominium in New York City sold to The College Entrance Examination Board. Over the course of his brokerage career he has held executive-level positions at Cross & Brown Company, The Galbreath Company and Cushman & Wakefield.

He bought his first investment property in New York City in 1981.

In 1993, he co-founded Prime Realty, a multi-family real estate acquisition and management company specializing in New York City. By 2000, Prime owned and operated approximately 6,700 rental apartment units in approximately 180 buildings. Prime employed 300 people and its institutional partners were Trust Company of the West, Oaktree Financial and Prudential Real Estate Investors.

In 2000, Robert sold his interest in Prime Realty and founded The Kligerman Group. Since then, he has purchased, sold and held over 100 properties (approximately $200,000,000 of real estate). At present, he owns and asset manages approximately 20 real estate assets totaling about $100,000,000. His core holdings have always been and are, presently, New York City multi-family assets in Northern Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx, however, he has also diversified into retail assets in Westchester County, New York and Fairfield County, CT and has acquired a Pharmaceutical warehouse campus close to JFK Airport on Long Island, New York.

Bard Kligerman has run the day to day operation and management of CRT, LLC from its inception in 2008 to today. He has been responsible for running the office and working with the leasing personnel, bookkeeper, attorneys, supers, banks and brokers. He is instrumental in sourcing new properties and opportunities and negotiating with broker's and the banks on the terms of the contracts. Among many other duties, he is responsible for the financial reporting to all investors on an ongoing basis.

He has had a long involvement in the real estate business as a result of working with and investing with his father Robert in the Kligerman Group on many different large multi-family investments in New York City. He has worked at Goldschmidt and Associates, Scarsdale, NY, a well-known local commercial real estate brokerage company; LibertyPointe Bank, New York, NY, where he worked in the loan underwriting department on credit analysis; and at Marcus and Millichap REIS, New York, NY where he focused on many real estate disciplines regarding the analysis of properties and valuations.

Throughout his college years (Miami University of Ohio, Oxford, OH; Majoring in Finance, in addition to the above, Bard worked with his father Robert regarding a ground-up retail development in Scarsdale, NY and numerous multi-family properties. In fact, Bard first became an actual investor himself in 2002 in four multi-family properties and one retail strip center which were syndicated by Robert. As a result, he knows first-hand the challenges and benefits of commercial real estate investment and has deep, technical capabilities combined with an intrinsic understanding of real estate.
